SMAD 242 introduced the fundamentals of advertising in new media. This course has given me the understanding of how companies effectively advertise across new media.
I worked alongside group members Miranda Morrone, Alana Shaprio, Hanna Giewont, and Mariella Rossi to produce a blog. Our blog consisted of reviews, analytical observations, and a detailed interview about advertising in the Olympics. I was responsible for writing a number of blog posts including: “Jumping The Hurdle: Olympians and Brands”, and “Your Inside Scoop To Advertising in the 2020 Olympics”.
